that’s the message at the heart of the first single release from JAMARAM’s 2019 album TO THE MOON AND THE SUN (Release 05.04.2019 TBC).
The space-reggae track DIAMOND GIRL tells of the feelings of a couple who have just fallen head over heels in love and who are carried by the cosmic force of their love into outer space where they orbit like planets, celebrating love with no boundaries. The song has a distinct pop feel and modern sound quality to it without forsaking its roots in stepper-style reggae.
The single was produced and recorded by a team around JAMARAM and their tried and tested partner in crime Umberto Echo. The fine tuning and mix were taken over by producer Guido Craveiro (Seeed, Cro, Querbeat, Culcha Candela) for the first time.
