What is Roots?
The five Bavarian musicians around frontman Lenny made this the topic of their EP & Tour, “Roots”, scheduled for spring 2020. Anyone expecting One Drop for one hour straight, however, will be positively „disappointed“: unbiased and creative, the group invites their audience to embark together on a journey through the sound, a search for the roots. Rocky guitar riffs meet soulful ballads. Energetic dancehall meets bavarian charme. This mix might also be the reason, many people outside of the Reggae cloud can’t help moving their feet when they hear it.
That this is not only well received in Bavaria, they proved duly, in large parts of northern Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
After their first two releases, “Plant A Seed” and “Get Ready,” they now created a musical homage to a constantly changing genre. We say: clear the ring for round three!
